All season tyres - suitable for all weather conditions
All-season tyres are the perfect combination between summer and winter tyres. All-season tyres impress by their good driving qualities regardless the weather conditions and the road. The specially developed profile of all-season tyres ensures a comfortable drive throughout the whole year. All-season tyres were specifically designed for all weather conditions thus eliminating the need to change the tyres depending on the season. The all-season tyres designed for winter conditions need to have the "M + S" marking (or M & S, MS). Some models may also have the snowflake symbol. M + S tyres with snowflake symbol meet the higher quality standards.
 
Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

I drive mostly in the city at low speeds however when taking to motorways in the UK I drive at 70MPH and in Europe at 75MPH. The drive is smooth and fuel economy is excellent, tyre wear is good and noise levels within the car is minimal.

Excellent safe and fun. You need to give warning when it won’t arrive for weeks before the customer pays though. I was stuck without something suitable. It’s not acceptable.

These are a thoroughly dependable tyre and the Expert 2 (and the later Expert 3) are superb tyres. In addition to the stated vehicle I have a set on my wife's 2014 Audi A3 and our 'spare car' a 2009 Fiat Panda 4x4. They are all on all year round and have acceptable wear even in hot summers

I am a careful driver. Mostly urban with some motorway driving. The tyres I chose are all season. Whilst I live in Edinburgh City, when snow falls I need to drive 800m and up 2 hills in order to get to a road that is kept clear and often there are cars and a bus strewn across the road. Amazing but true. These tyres have allowed me to bypass these cars and proceed to the swept roadway. 2 times this winter. Scarcely believable that people don't know how to drive in the snow. They are sure footed in frost too.

We have owned this car for almost 11 years now and the last 9 years have been on firstly Uniroyal MS+77 205/55 R16 91H and then for the last 3 years on AllSeason Expert 2 which is a vastly improved tyre. The latter is so much quieter and returns improved fuel consumption and I believe better grip in wintry conditions

I have front set of 2 tires 1 year and around 20000km old, and rear set 6 months and around 10000km. Tyres are excellent for my car on dry and wet. There's not much snow in this part of England, but was some WET snow last winter and tyres were good on start and in curves but on braking just slide (wet snow i suppose). I have been on the road trip this summer 5000km+, and tyres aren't worn at all. Good grip in curves on motorway at high speed (up to 180 km/h) on dry and wet.

Such an amazing tyre from Yokohama. Equally as good, if not better, than both Uniroyal and Yokohama winter tyres that I have used in the past. So much quieter too than winter tyres. Top rated traction on both snow and ice. I have passed taxi drivers and over enthusiastic prestige German car drivers trying to go up steep snow covered hills as the Yokohama BluEarth-4S AW21 just kept on going with confidence and tenacious grip. I would swear blind that my humble Skoda Octavia Combi was a 4 x 4 rather than FWD! I understand that this tyre is TUV Sud approved and I can totally as to understand why. Such good valve tyres so go and purchase some, you will not regret it!

Definitely the best tyres I've owned to date. I'm driving 28years and always had an issue or two with tyres, so decided to go for all season tyres online so I could see reviews and specs . Bought full set of 4 Rotalla after seeing reviews. I am not an overly cautious driver let's say, and I would take roundabouts at a fair enough speed, previous tyres would struggle on wet days. I instantly felt a huge difference on roundabouts, and grip on breaking on colder mornings . I'm extremely happy with the road grip and performance on sunny days AND colder frosty mornings. My car feels safer to drive for sure. I drive in city, rural and motorway roads regularly so I can say I have tested these tyres fully. At a guess I've done approx 2.5k+ miles on these tyres. Fuel efficiency has improved slightly, but my car is old, so wasnt expecting miracles. I'm changing cars soon and I just hope I can get these tyres or very close to, for the new car. That's how happy I am with them. Only reason I might have not given 5 stars all round is because I cannot judge the noise or fuel based on my own cars age and knowledge of noise level. Highly recommend tho, delighted I took the chance

Excellent wet braking, good snow traction. Dry grip isn't bad but definitely not as good as a summer tyre with more meat in contact with the road. Relatively noisy tread pattern audible around town when the windows are down. Will vary from vehicle to vehicle. Had these on for six months and covered around 12500 miles / 20k Km. No issues.
