28.01.2024 from David Gauld
When I bought the car in September last year it had recently been fitted with Kumho Ecsta PS71. These were quite skippy on the wet roads despite being marketed as a good performer in wet conditions. Since fitting the CrossClimate 2's I have had far better grip in the wet and winter conditions. We have had loads of rain, flooded roads then ice and then a week of snow. These tyres give confidence in these conditions and help improve the safety of your drive in those conditions. Will buy again.

Have been driving to Cotswolds from London on motorways.
17.04.2023 from CNicol
When I bought my BMW 3 series I had off brand summer tyres on it. I bought Michelin Crossclimate 2 tyres for it and noticed the difference in the handling on dry roads immediately. The car was much firmer and secure on the road when driving at speed. When driving in the torrential wet I found these tyres to struggle a bit but general rain fall they are fine. Took a year and a half before I got serious snow to test them in. I had to drive home 30 miles on rural roads at 5am with no snow tracks to help and to make things harder I was in a rear wheel BMW. These tyres handle it perfectly, they are incredible in snow. Finally, I am a year and a half/ 10000 miles into them and they easy have another 7K/8K worth of miles in them. 5 stars all round, I'm buying them again no question.
24.04.2022 from Len
Grip on wet roads is excellent. No snow since purchase, so can only estimate it as very good. Comfortable ride, but slightly noisier than a regular tyre. Car handles very well on the Crossclimates.

23.04.2024 from Andy moore
My car has the DSG gearbox and on normal tyres was useless in snow, I fitted these tyres and it was usable on the one occasion we had snow. It’s also better in frosty weather and the tyres give good grip in the dry and seem to be wearing well, very pleased so far
13.11.2023 from STEPHANE
Good all season tyres for a daily use, a little bit weak on snow, but i have mild winter. A good surprise on wet, good aquaplaning safety margin. And with my driving style, the wear in front wheels is still uniformed. The only problem is that these tyres are now very hard to find in France, and there was at 56 euros each on june 2022, 83 euros each nowadays...

Tyres are quiet on the road, good breaking and grip in the wet

My tyre size was 205 55 16 but not in the list! Unbelieveble in wet surface but average on dry breaking. Good aquaplanning and snow traction. Good comfort but average noise.

31.12.2022 from Colin Garner
Feels solid and well placed on road, grip good no snow yet to assess but good in wet.
01.06.2022 from RJ and T
Initially nervous about changing brand from the fitted ones but needn't have worried. As with other cars we have used these on it is a huge improvement and we would buy the same again.
27.03.2021 from Michael Chapman
Probably the best tyres I have used. Comfortable and safe handling in all weather conditions here in Scotland hot summer, wet semi flooded and deep snow during the time owned. The best feature of these tyres on my vehicle is the feeling of safety and confidence with the Crossclimate + fitted
20.03.2021 from Kevin Bates
I found this tire to be one of the best all round tires available. No matter the weather the car always felt sure footed. My Octavia was the Vrs model so had plenty of horsepower to transmit, and the Cross Climates made easy work of doing that. High speed driving was safe and quiet as was cornering. A fabulous tire! Only regret is the limited sizes because I can't get them to fit my Fabia Monte Carlo Estate else I would be running them on that as well.

27.05.2023 from Dick E
Long distance motorway driving mainly. No excessive speed, braking or other maneuvering. Little recent experience of real winter conditions.
30.03.2020 from Daniel
Perfect tyres for this country, I am not worrying about winters and raining summer, tyres working superb all season. Quiet and comfortable
18.01.2019 from Maz
Initially not that impressed but after an adjustment period/ bedding in found the tyre to be very consistent in almost all conditions. Only slightly let down in tight roundabout wet conditions (has a tendency to go into very slight understeer) but not always. Tyre performance seems very sensitive to maintaining the correct/ recommended tyre pressures. In recent days the temperature has dropped to just about freezing where these tyres have really started to show their winter biased abilities. Great grip and response ind dry and cold wet conditions. One worthy point to add to potential purchasers is that I thought I had purchased the "seal inside" version but had not. This stock of old and new by tyre suppliers is frustrating. Other than that I would recommend the tyre for the sensible non sporty driver.

Superb Quality and Rich Heritage

Superb Quality and Rich Heritage

As of 2017, the Bridgestone Corporation is the largest tyre manufacturer in the world. This very fact says everything about the significance of this Japanese company for the rubber industry and the entire automotive world. Founded back in 1931, Bridgestone relied heavily on the Japanese technology in rubber manufacturing from its inception. Despite some difficulties regarding production and sales during its early days, the company eventually managed to perfect the manufacturing process which led to its rapid growth and expansion overseas. Thanks to constant technological improvements, Bridgestone developed into one of the world’s leading companies in the rubber industry. Today, this giant corporation runs 141 production facilities in 24 countries.

When it comes to the Bridgestone all-season tyres, very few other brands can compete with the range offered by this renowned tyre manufacturer. As a more economical alternative to regular seasonal tyres, all-rounders are becoming a highly sought-after product within Bridgestone’s portfolio. That is especially the case in countries with moderate climate during wintertime such as the UK. Fitting all-season tyres to the wheels of your car means getting rid of the hassle of swapping tyres twice a year. Moreover, the quality of the recently developed rubber compounds gives them impressive capabilities in terms of performing in all temperatures and all weathers. That said, it is no wonder that drivers across the globe are becoming increasingly interested in what the all-season tyres have to offer.

Popular Models within the All-Weather Range

The Dueler A/T 001 is one of the most popular models from the range of the Bridgestone all-season tyres. Designed for SUVs and 4x4 vehicles, this excellent tyre delivers all-weather performance on a wide variety of terrains. Its unique pattern geometry gives it improved traction on snow and mud, while its tread block shape and special rubber compound allow it to perform well both on-road and off-road. Water drainage is enhanced by improved tread grooves and lug, resulting in significantly reduced risk of hydroplaning.

Another superb all-season tyre offered by Bridgestone is the Weather Control A001. It boasts impressive grip on wet and snow, as well as excellent flexibility in fast-changing weather conditions. The tyre also benefits from new rubber compounds that make it notably quieter than its predecessor. The Weather Control A001 fits passenger cars, 4x4 vehicles, and vans.

Besides the Bridgestone all-season tyres, our online store offers an impressive array of tyres from a vast number of manufacturers. Visit Autopink-shop.co.uk and find out everything that needs to be known about tyres for different types of vehicles. We guarantee professional service and quick delivery because customer satisfaction is what we stand for.
