Most of my driving is on country roads with varying conditions dry , wet , muddy and in winter snow and ice thrown into the mix . These tyres have handled everything and performed great for the price. Have had branded tyres before fitting these which cracked and perished and did not last as long .

In damp or wet on corners they handle very well but certain tarmac can feel it slide abit but not enough for you to panic but enough for you to know to back off Dry does very well like Midrange tyres depending what power car you got of course But got them on very cheap offer compare to other midrange all season they around £150 and I got theses from £130 to £98 if they wasn't on offer I wouldn't of brought them and if they needed replacing would I buy them again depends they don't go higher then £100 otherwise I get midrange tyres

Bought these tyres as a bit of an emergency stop gap after somebody had slashed my tyres in a city centre car park, they were only supposed to be on for a few weeks until pay day and I could afford something better, however they’ve now been on for 6 months and have been used in all weathers, including a couple of muddy tracks. They perform really quite well, grip is very good in the dry, only a slight decrease on wet roads and better than expected in the snow. Although they’re not a mud tyre, they still handled the muddy farm tracks with ease. Fuel economy seems pretty much unchanged, road noise is slightly higher than a premium tyre but not so much that it becomes intrusive. Tyre wear is on par with others, I’ve done 10,000 miles so far and judging by the remaining tread, If I run them all the way down to 1.6mm, I think I’ll be on course for a 20,000 mile lifespan.

Kumho tyres always seem very good in all areas & at a fair price. We went for the All Season Solus as my partner is a care worker & out in literally all conditions.

I can’t yet comment on grip in snow and ice, as I haven’t yet driven it in those conditions, although I did buy these tyres to be able to drive in any conditions, all year round. These tyres are only on the front of the car, as these were the only All Season tyres of the correct size for the front of this car. The rear tyres are a larger size, and I have a different make of All Season tyres on the back. The car drive’s perfectly with the tyres I have fitted, and it feels very grippy, and quiet, under all conditions. I am very impressed with these tyres and I’m confident they will be excellent in snowy and icy conditions as well. It is too early to cont on wear and MPG, but that is not an issue for me.
25.08.2023fromMalcolm Ash
Excellent tyres, have used these tyres on many types of vehicles over the years and they have performed superbly. They are my go to tyre.
01.06.2022fromMarky L
Whilst the grip is good in snow, these tyres really struggle to get the torque down to the road from the the 1.4 Hybrid 215PS during acceleration when the surface is wet OR dry. It's particularly bad in the wet, where the wheels spin easily. Even on the electric motor drive only, a dab of the throttle to over 80% power sets the wheels spinning at low speed. The Michelin Pilot's that were fitted as standard have much better grip on the wet roads than the Nexen. Therefore I wouldn't class the Nexen as "all season". It should really be classed as a winter tyre only. I wouldn't like to run these tyres all year round due to the inferior grip in most conditions (except snow of course). I wouldn't buy this brand if I wanted an all-weather tyre again. I'd purchase a proper winter tyre and swap around in the seasons as I've had to do with these anyway!
04.06.2020fromRaf
Overall good tyres. Slightly noisy but not to extend. This is what you would get from all-weather tyre - bit of all. Not most economical on fuel consumption again this is all-weather tyre which is not as good Michelin Cross climate but good for its price.

Had little snow this year but felt very stable good in wet.No problem s so far
19.02.2021fromRick von Horvath
Such an amazing tyre from Yokohama. Equally as good, if not better, than both Uniroyal and Yokohama winter tyres that I have used in the past. So much quieter too than winter tyres. Top rated traction on both snow and ice. I have passed taxi drivers and over enthusiastic prestige German car drivers trying to go up steep snow covered hills as the Yokohama BluEarth-4S AW21 just kept on going with confidence and tenacious grip. I would swear blind that my humble Skoda Octavia Combi was a 4 x 4 rather than FWD! I understand that this tyre is TUV Sud approved and I can totally as to understand why. Such good valve tyres so go and purchase some, you will not regret it!

Surprisingly good grip on wet road and stability. Compares very well with my previous premium brand, season dedicated. Price considered, very happy, would buy again.

Convincing Reasons to Opt for All-Weather Tyres

A rapidly growing number of all-weather tyre models has been entering global markets lately. The reason for that lies in the fact that this particular type of tyre offers substantial advantages. With their ability to perform in all weather conditions year-round, all-season tyres can easily replace two sets of seasonal tyres, thus allowing the driver to save a significant amount of money. Not only that, they save valuable time by ridding one of the hassle of swapping tyres before and after the winter months. What makes them so efficient in different circumstances are special rubber compounds they are made from, as well as unique tread pattern design. Among numerous products of various manufacturers, the CST all-season tyres have established themselves as particularly reliable.

Cheng Shin Tire is currently the world’s largest manufacturer of bicycle and motorcycle tyres, as well as a respectable manufacturer of car tyres and other rubber products. Within its high-tech facilities in Xiamen, China, the company employs 25,000 people and exports its products to more than 150 countries. CST boasts state-of-the-art manufacturing process and puts a strong emphasis on quality and dependability. In that regard, it comes as no surprise that the brand’s all-season tyres are gaining a strong presence on global markets.

A Popular Model in CST’s Portfolio

The Medallion All Season ACP1 tyre is an excellent example of CST’s advanced technology. It benefits greatly from a modern V-shaped profile combined with its micro-sipe design that allows it to perform well in all conditions. The tyre is particularly efficient in winter conditions, as it boasts excellent traction on snowy and icy surfaces. Thanks to its two large linear grooves in the tread, the Medallion All Season ACP1 excels in water drainage which makes the ride very safe, especially in rain. Also, the tyre’s advanced silica tread compound gives it enhanced rolling resistance. Opting for the CST all-season tyres and this particular model is by all means a sensible choice.
