Originally on rear axle for approx 2 k miles, no wear at all. Now on front axle, grip and feedback in wet and dry in great, including on gravelly / light muddy patches in country parking areas and in cold weather. Most impressive aspect of the Vredesteins is the directional stability ( steering centring) and also quietness on the front axle compared to the neatly new Nankang all weather tyres that were on beforehand. No snow this year so not tested on snow! Highly recommended.

All round good tyre, quite noisy on the highway though. Three out of four tyres developed sidewall dents that I read are just a cosmetic defect luckily.

Bought these tyres as a bit of an emergency stop gap after somebody had slashed my tyres in a city centre car park, they were only supposed to be on for a few weeks until pay day and I could afford something better, however they’ve now been on for 6 months and have been used in all weathers, including a couple of muddy tracks. They perform really quite well, grip is very good in the dry, only a slight decrease on wet roads and better than expected in the snow. Although they’re not a mud tyre, they still handled the muddy farm tracks with ease. Fuel economy seems pretty much unchanged, road noise is slightly higher than a premium tyre but not so much that it becomes intrusive. Tyre wear is on par with others, I’ve done 10,000 miles so far and judging by the remaining tread, If I run them all the way down to 1.6mm, I think I’ll be on course for a 20,000 mile lifespan.

Piacevolmente impressionato, gomme silenziose, consumi bassi e ottimo grip. Per una guida 80% extraurbana e 20% cittadina con andatura tranquilla sono veramente ottime. Magari le crossclimate della Michelin saranno più performanti, ma a questo prezzo è difficile trovare di meglio.
27.10.2019fromCraig McQueen
Sticks well to the road on corners in all conditions at all speeds. Gives confidence. Tyre is 225/40 R18. Not size available in drop down menu here. Built in kerb protection is welcome on such low profile tyres. Good value tyres, have used this brand for years over about 500,000miles with no issues, lasting 30000 miles plus on drive axles and had 66000miles on trailing rear axle pair!

A Famous Name with Rich History

A Famous Name with Rich History

Dunlop has been a high-profile name in the tyre manufacturing industry for quite a long time. Named after John Boyd Dunlop, the inventor of the pneumatic tyre principle, the famous manufacturer has been around since the late 19th century. During its long and rich history, the company has contributed greatly to the quality of rubber products thanks to numerous technological innovations. Today, Dunlop products can be found in nearly every country in the world. Our online store offers numerous models from the well-known brand, including the Dunlop all-season tyres.

Why Choose All-Season Tyres

Whereas the benefits of winter and summer tyres are mostly commonplace knowledge in the automotive world, the advantages of using all-season tyres seem to be much less known. To put it simply, all-weather tyres offer a sensible balance of capabilities that are normally associated with dedicated summer and winter tyres. They provide solid performance both in dry and wet conditions, as well as good traction on snow and ice. Thanks to special rubber compounds and moderate tread depths, they tend to last longer than the summer tyres.

So, expect the all-season tyres to provide year-round performance paired with a safe and comfortable driving experience. They will also save you the trouble of changing tyres before and after winter, thus ensuring sigificant cost reductions. Another noteworthy aspect of the use of all-rounders is their quality of being environmentally friendly. On top of that, your vehicle will be road legal even in those countries that have made snow tyres compulsory during wintertime. The Dunlop all-season tyres are recommended particularly to those customers living in regions without harsh winter conditions.

A Wide Variety of Models

Dunlop offers a wide array of all-season tyres for vehicles ranging from family saloons and SUVs to commercial vehicles of all sizes. For instance, the SP Grandtrek ST1 is currently one of the brand’s top-rated models. Apart from superb performance on snow and wet, this tyre boasts excellent high-speed stability and low noise levels. Its greatest strength is the directional groove pattern that enables the car fitted with these tyres to achieve good stability at motorway speeds. Moreover, the SP Grandtrek ST1 benefits from a rigid double center rib that is designed to reduce noise levels inside the cabin. In our stock you can find this and other versions of the Dunlop all-season tyres. In case you value high professional standards and dependability, order your new set of tyres at Autopink-shop.co.uk.
