Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

Original equipment quality: optimum adjustment to the vehicle
Tyres with a special OEM marking on the sidewall, e.g. "MO" for Mercedes-Benz, were developed in cooperation with a specific car manufacturer and the tyre industry. These tyres have been homologated by the vehicle manufacturer and are a perfect match for a specific model. They have been specially designed to highlight or further improve the performance characteristics of the car in question, thus representing the culmination of a state-of-the-art fine-tuning process that perfectly complements the latest technological developments in the automotive industry. The car was supplied to me with brand new Triangle tyres - a brand I had not heard of and was not one I would have gone for but in the year that I have had them on the car, I have no complaint about their performance. I cannot say whether they would be the tyre of choice when replacement is necessary. t

The tire works quite well on normal asphalt, but on dirt roads the lateral grip is poor. The tire is loud on the highway. The tire wears out really quickly, so I won't buy it again.

These tires are good, but for me, it is not because they are not 195/65/15. they are 195/64/15. So I have problems claiming a ramp because the car find under !!!

Never before had tyres only last 6500kms on my WRX thought it was my wheel alignment had that checked and it was fine massive camber ware when I'm only running 0.5 neg and rear tyres are at less then 50% left so definitely would not recommend at all cheap yes gets you outta trouble but not worth it

Bought these tyres based purely on the price and rating - they were replacing some very long lived Avon ZV5 tyres which are no longer made and have been replaced with a lesser alternative - I had gotten 37k (miles) over 5 years out of those so they were very good value. The Rotallas were half the price of equivalent 'branded' tyres but with a C rating for fuel and B for Wet Grip so on paper they were better. In reality I don't drive hard enough to notice, but grip feels good in the dry going round corners and fine in the wet although I am always a lot more cautious especially if there's standing water at speed to avoid any scary moments! Noise-wise it's nigh-on impossible to tell any difference to be honest! Only done about 2k (miles) so far and tread looks almost like new so hoping they last - also working on the assumption that they may outlive the car! Good value in my opinion :)

Softish tyre so good cornering grip in dry, always careful in wet conditions as it is rear wheel drive and there would be tendency to lose the rear end if driven harsh in wet conditions.

It's not a fast car so you push it round corners, I've got them on the back so more to do with floating. Dry/wet work well, when pushed you feel the blocks moving about so you know the limit, haven't pushed over that, tend to get small stones stuck in tread but never cause a prob, would I buy again, well yes.

About the Dunlop summer tyres

The Dunlop tyres were founded by John Boyd Dunlop in Birmingham in England in the year 1889. He was a pneumatic tyre pioneer. The brand of Dunlop tyres is owned by several companies all over the world. The Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Company owned and operated Dunlop tyres in Australia, North America, New Zealand, and Europe. The Dunlop rubber company was acquired by BTR plc, in 1985. The rights to manufacture and market the Dunlop brand of tyres were given to Sumitomo Rubber Industries.
