Good grip, solid performance on rough country roads, and smooth enough on A roads, balanced breaking and no vehicle shudder
05.02.2025 from Dean
I've done around 8500 miles so far in mostly poor weather , very good grip in all winter conditions and mild conditions. Good all rounder.
28.05.2024 from Marcis
Good grip on wet and dry roads. Reasonable grip on snow and icy roads. Noisy on dry roads. Fuel consumption has increased. All in all decent tyres.
07.04.2024 from Harry
Incredibly capable tyre for all conditions, but my experience on the roads in West Yorkshire will probably dictate that I don't purchase these tyres again as they are too soft on the sidewall, they do need some sort of protective band. The roads a terrible around Haworth for potholes, and in this case I could not dodge one and it has ripped the sidewall and damaged the rim, rendering the tyre scrap.

18.12.2023 from Jeremy Spillane
I can’t yet comment on grip in snow and ice, as I haven’t yet driven it in those conditions, although I did buy these tyres to be able to drive in any conditions, all year round. These tyres are only on the front of the car, as these were the only All Season tyres of the correct size for the front of this car. The rear tyres are a larger size, and I have a different make of All Season tyres on the back. The car drive’s perfectly with the tyres I have fitted, and it feels very grippy, and quiet, under all conditions. I am very impressed with these tyres and I’m confident they will be excellent in snowy and icy conditions as well. It is too early to cont on wear and MPG, but that is not an issue for me.
25.08.2023 from Malcolm Ash
Excellent tyres, have used these tyres on many types of vehicles over the years and they have performed superbly. They are my go to tyre.
01.06.2022 from Marky L
Whilst the grip is good in snow, these tyres really struggle to get the torque down to the road from the the 1.4 Hybrid 215PS during acceleration when the surface is wet OR dry. It's particularly bad in the wet, where the wheels spin easily. Even on the electric motor drive only, a dab of the throttle to over 80% power sets the wheels spinning at low speed. The Michelin Pilot's that were fitted as standard have much better grip on the wet roads than the Nexen. Therefore I wouldn't class the Nexen as "all season". It should really be classed as a winter tyre only. I wouldn't like to run these tyres all year round due to the inferior grip in most conditions (except snow of course). I wouldn't buy this brand if I wanted an all-weather tyre again. I'd purchase a proper winter tyre and swap around in the seasons as I've had to do with these anyway!
04.06.2020 from Raf
Overall good tyres. Slightly noisy but not to extend. This is what you would get from all-weather tyre - bit of all. Not most economical on fuel consumption again this is all-weather tyre which is not as good Michelin Cross climate but good for its price.

28.01.2024 from David Gauld
When I bought the car in September last year it had recently been fitted with Kumho Ecsta PS71. These were quite skippy on the wet roads despite being marketed as a good performer in wet conditions. Since fitting the CrossClimate 2's I have had far better grip in the wet and winter conditions. We have had loads of rain, flooded roads then ice and then a week of snow. These tyres give confidence in these conditions and help improve the safety of your drive in those conditions. Will buy again.
18.06.2023 from Robert
Have been driving to Cotswolds from London on motorways.
17.04.2023 from CNicol
When I bought my BMW 3 series I had off brand summer tyres on it. I bought Michelin Crossclimate 2 tyres for it and noticed the difference in the handling on dry roads immediately. The car was much firmer and secure on the road when driving at speed. When driving in the torrential wet I found these tyres to struggle a bit but general rain fall they are fine. Took a year and a half before I got serious snow to test them in. I had to drive home 30 miles on rural roads at 5am with no snow tracks to help and to make things harder I was in a rear wheel BMW. These tyres handle it perfectly, they are incredible in snow. Finally, I am a year and a half/ 10000 miles into them and they easy have another 7K/8K worth of miles in them. 5 stars all round, I'm buying them again no question.
24.04.2022 from Len
Grip on wet roads is excellent. No snow since purchase, so can only estimate it as very good. Comfortable ride, but slightly noisier than a regular tyre. Car handles very well on the Crossclimates.

Eco-Friendly Tyres for All Seasons

In terms of achieving an economical way to drive your car, very few things come close to fitting it with all-season tyres. Capable of delivering solid performance throughout the year, they represent a sensible alternative to dedicated summer and winter tyres. In addition to their obvious cost-effective side, all-weather tyres also rid you of the hassle of swapping tyres before and after the winter season. That makes them an especially appealing solution to all drivers living in countries with moderate climate such as the UK. However, there is an even more eco-friendly option in the form of retreaded tyres. The fact that they are basically remoulded spent tyres makes them an exceptionally environmentally friendly product. One of the brands that offer a wide range of high-quality retreaded tyres is Insa Turbo.

The Insa Turbo all-season tyres have been quite successful on the market of remoulded tyres over the last few decades. Established in 1988, this Spain-based company has been expanding gradually to gain presence on numerous European markets. As a family-run business, it has managed to establish itself among the trusted names in the rubber industry. Today, Insa Turbo boasts state-of-the-art technology as well as high production standards. If you are in search for dependable and eco-friendly all-weather tyres, this brand should certainly be on top of your list.

A Recommendable Model from the Brand’s Portfolio

When it comes to the range of the Insa Turbo all-season tyres, the Ecodrive AS is the model that has plenty to offer. This all-round tyre delivers impressive performance throughout the year regardless of the season or road conditions. Its unique tread pattern design makes it highly adaptive as well as extremely stable in dry, wet, or snow. Designed for speeds up to 130 mph, the Ecodrive AS provides a comfortable ride even in harsh weather conditions. Apart from improved rolling resistance, it boasts impressively short braking distances combined with low risk of hydroplaning. In terms of economical and environmentally friendly solutions, very few tyres can rival this great model.

At autopink-shop.co.uk you can find a slew of affordable tyres for all types of vehicles, including passenger cars, minivans, crossovers, buses, trucks, and other commercial vehicles. In addition to competitive pricing, our online store provides professional service and expedient delivery to all of our customers.
