10.11.2022 from John Peters
Noted an increase in millage from tje start, also noticed a noise reduction while driving. Good grip and reduced roll. All in all a good upgrade for electric cars.
10.06.2021 from Anthony Hibbs
I bought these tyres as they are the only ones on the market that claim to be specifically designed for electric vehicles and are carbon neutral in their manufacture. Lots of claims made by Michelin regarding low noise levels, grip, wear and increased range. I can confirm that the tyres live up to these claims in all respects. I have driven around 1200 miles in mixed road and weather conditions and have been very impressed. My eGolf was always a quiet car, but now it’s almost silent with little or no road noise below 50mph. Braking and handling in wet or dry, good roads or bad, is exceptional. My average range previously was around 150 miles from a full charge, now it’s 160 miles, remarkable. I absolutely recommend these tyres for electric vehicles.

27.08.2026 from Chris J
Driving mostly continental major routes to Spain 4 times a year Grip handling and comfort are excellent Tyre wear is very good with the last set completing 48000 miles and only changed then due to outer edge perishing, sun being the culpritI suspect
27.08.2026 from Chris J
This is my second set of Nexen Fera Sport. They are excellent and generally very quiet. Grip is excellent and wear very good. Fuel consumption is 64mpg on a motorway run and 57 in local driving. The first set lasted for 48000miles and were only changed due to outside edge perishing!
27.08.2026 from Chris J
This car generally completes short commuting runs in all weathers. Grip is excellent and wear good. Outer edge perishing has been an issue with the previous set but that aside very happy
06.10.2022 from John
Handling it depends from road quality, but never excellent. Steering feeling is good. Breaking on dry roads insufficient, ABS function even in middle breaking situations. Very low noise,

Many Man miles, 252,000 in the car.
16.02.2023 from Alasdair
A solid tyre I've refitted to the car several times already. Excellent grip on wet and dry and more comfortable than the SportContact they replaced with marginal difference in performance. Only difference felt was feeling marginally more tyre wall flex if driving very hard in corners but a lovely balance for comfort and excellent grip. They are slightly louder than other tyres which is a minus but worth it for overall performance. Very predictable behaviour wet and dry. Only other downside is Conti shipping tyres with slightly lower than average new tread which makes it a bit more expensive over the life than similar priced tyres from other brands.
26.02.2022 from Suki Nandhra
Great tyres and the reason why I always come back to Conti’s
24.03.2021 from N Moss
More comfortable than a lot of winter tyres we have had. A bit noisy but not too bad. Fuel economy better than most.

make a test. swich off the engine, windows down, let the car roll and just listen this incredible tyre sound... the worst tyres i had ever. (the noise starts at about 5km/hr).

The most expensive conti's I've ever purchased (x4) Ouch!! I've bought a lot of other conti's in the past. Inc Sportcontact & Uniroyal tyres. Ecocontact5 are noisy, very average grip levels in wet & dry conditions. Poor wear levels for a so called eco tyre :-( Neither do I like the feel of them during cornering. I will not buy these budget/mid range level tyres again. I really don't have anything positive to say about these tyres. Apart from when I'm going to change them. Buy another mid range tyre instead or even a budget & save money ;-)
