Comment:
I wanted some inexpensive tires so I could test the wear when my Cayene was lowered. I bought these because you can't usually touch the 19 tires for under $300 a piece. I figured that I'd be unhappy with them but I could deal for a while. Well! I have to say that I am truly impressed with the performance of these tires. I still swing my 5000lb beast around hairpins without a second thought. They are not to hard and not to soft. Perfect for all around driving. I live in NH so I did put snow tires on for the winter but I did get a chance to use these in the snow. They were just as good as any other all season tires are in the snow. I did punch a hole through one of the sidewalls recently when I hit a sharp curb pulling into a parking spot ( truly embarrassing as I have never done this in my 30 years of driving). I think I would have torn the sidewall of any tire but it did seem that these were a bit thin. For under a $100, I had another tire ordered from tires-easy.com before the tow truck even arrived. People may hesitate buying a v rated tire over a z but seriously? The v is rated to 150mph; after that you are taking your life in your hands one way or another. Bottom line is that these tires perform and look like the more expensive tires. I am happy with them.
