I don`t usualy write reviews, but this time I feal compelled to, since most of the users bash on NEXEN tires. First of all I've purchased my tires in the cold season (january), and the 3rd day after my purchase, it started to snow heavily. No problem! I could drive without a problem (in modest conditions ~30km/h) before the snow equipments even hit the road (i live in romania. everything is slow here). So I don't understand why some users give 0 stars. Isn't a 0 star snow review should be equal to a tyre that doesn't allow you to move your car ? Before these nexens i had CONTI PC SSR, and I have to say that these tyres behave better in the snow (guess it's due to their V shapped tread). Now, does the V shapped tread behave just as good on asphalt or it just looks cool. YES! They drive very well on asphalt . Due to "global warming" I had the chance to test them on rain, snow, and dry asphalt in a whole week ... But can't say for sure how good they are at ~100km/h in turns...on the long road. My opionion is that they will behave well. Now. If you are low on budget, and want a decent tire to satisfy your driving needs (even sporty) . I usualy drive max with 160km/h so when spring comes I will be able to test them on the open road. Until now these tires haven't dissapointed, so if you're low on cash, want a decent tire, don't want a ripoff...buy NEXEN . Until I can find a flaw about them they will be my nr 1 choice. Maybe an alternate set for now (real snow tires).
