What tyre size do you require?
The exact size of a tyre can be found on its sidewall.
The following chart shows you how to read a tyre size.
1. Overall tire width in mm
2. Ratio of tire height to tire width in%
3. Tire design: ''R'' = radial tires (widely used), ''D'' or ''-'' = diagonal tires (rare)
4. Required rim diameter for this tire in inches
5. Key figure for tire load capacity
6. Key figure for the permissible maximum speed (speed index)
7. Motorcycle tire identification, tires only approved for motorcycles
8. DOT labeling
9. Date of manufacture of the tire (week of production / year of production)

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.

Best tyres you can buy for the 650 Burgman in terms of grip and handling but at you would expect if you have an active riding style they won’t last as long as some other harder wearing tyres, you take your choice.

I have had nothing but puncture after puncture with Pirelli. 2 Rosso 2’s and even worse Rosso 3’s x2, too soft for British road’s but I am held to ransom as I can’t get Michelin’s in the size any more for some reason.

Good grip wet & dry(>10degC) and reasonable feedback, mainly used on fast A and twisty B roads. Ride quite hard so only about 2500 miles from rear tyre, about double for front. Comparable to other tyres, is Michelin road smart 4

I have been impressed. They look offroad'ish and to be honest haven't had a chance to test them off road, but, have worked fabulously well through the winter on wet slippy roads and now its drying out I am discovering their dry grip is excellent. They ride like a road tyre.

Excellent tire for both on and off road. My last tire was the aggressive Hidenau K60, which is great off road and miserable on road. This tire was a super comprise.

Great tyres both on and off road. Never been able to lock the front wheel on tarmac and only lock the front on dirt on purpose. Use a different tyre on the rear of my bike but its a really great front tyre.
