Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

Original equipment quality: optimum adjustment to the vehicle
Tyres with a special OEM marking on the sidewall, e.g. "MO" for Mercedes-Benz, were developed in cooperation with a specific car manufacturer and the tyre industry. These tyres have been homologated by the vehicle manufacturer and are a perfect match for a specific model. They have been specially designed to highlight or further improve the performance characteristics of the car in question, thus representing the culmination of a state-of-the-art fine-tuning process that perfectly complements the latest technological developments in the automotive industry. Tyres with manufacturer's markings can of course also be used on other vehicles.

The tyres perform well for day to day driving, but lack confindence in the intial turn if your pushing the car. The brakng performance in a straight line whiles in wet is incredible and reliable. Accelerating in the wet very good but not as good as the braking. The tyres do not make much noise on the motorway and seem to be puncture resistant. I would not recommend these tyres for those who want to push the their on the weekend as they simply let go.

Driving within my own ability and the ability of the vehicle I choose to drive is what I do. The tyres on my car are part of the interface between driver and road. I prefer to drive with the tyres fully inflated in order to feel the feedback from the surface of the road through noise, suspension and steering, I ballance throttle and brake response with weather conditions, road conditions and temperature. Tyres with less grip just dictate that I should moderate speed and braking at an increased rate. Noisey tyres provide slightly better feedback than silent tyres. The road with current traffic congestion burden isnt the place for performance spirited driving but is the place where defensive driving must be used. I would describe my tyres as competent.

I have front set of 2 tires 1 year and around 20000km old, and rear set 6 months and around 10000km. Tyres are excellent for my car on dry and wet. There's not much snow in this part of England, but was some WET snow last winter and tyres were good on start and in curves but on braking just slide (wet snow i suppose). I have been on the road trip this summer 5000km+, and tyres aren't worn at all. Good grip in curves on motorway at high speed (up to 180 km/h) on dry and wet.

When I bought the car in September last year it had recently been fitted with Kumho Ecsta PS71. These were quite skippy on the wet roads despite being marketed as a good performer in wet conditions. Since fitting the CrossClimate 2's I have had far better grip in the wet and winter conditions. We have had loads of rain, flooded roads then ice and then a week of snow. These tyres give confidence in these conditions and help improve the safety of your drive in those conditions. Will buy again.

When I bought my BMW 3 series I had off brand summer tyres on it. I bought Michelin Crossclimate 2 tyres for it and noticed the difference in the handling on dry roads immediately. The car was much firmer and secure on the road when driving at speed. When driving in the torrential wet I found these tyres to struggle a bit but general rain fall they are fine. Took a year and a half before I got serious snow to test them in. I had to drive home 30 miles on rural roads at 5am with no snow tracks to help and to make things harder I was in a rear wheel BMW. These tyres handle it perfectly, they are incredible in snow. Finally, I am a year and a half/ 10000 miles into them and they easy have another 7K/8K worth of miles in them. 5 stars all round, I'm buying them again no question.

Grip on wet roads is excellent. No snow since purchase, so can only estimate it as very good. Comfortable ride, but slightly noisier than a regular tyre. Car handles very well on the Crossclimates.

These tyres are good value and perform safely and well when used within legal parameters on UK roads. One slight negative is road surfaces can sometimes make tyre noise quite high but other than that I will definitely buy them again.

The tyres were 7/10 when I got them, the wet straight line grip is great the dry performance is above average. Quiet and comfortable tyres. The tyre wear is poor, I had new arms,tie rods, drop links and bushings as well as alignment done afterwards. The tyres showed excessive wear on the edge after only 8000 miles. I always check tyre pressure every week.

Nice tyre for the money, excellent dry grip! I couldn't afford something really nice from Michelin but was very impressed with it. Used two different size on two cars and the only let down (no pun intended) was i did get 2 flats on 1 car and 1 on the other at various times over the first months of ownership but the replacements have been fine. Just bad luck perhaps but makes me think the sidewalls are not the best for abuse, potholes etc.

Fitted to the vehicle already when purchased.. They are an adequate budget tyre for perhaps city driving however they are poor in the wet. Lack any feedback in more active driving and in the wet have poor grip and braking performance with significant understeer in even damp conditions with even slightly 'active' driving. I've removed them off the car half worn and replaced with a premium brand as I'm not comfortable with their performance on mainly wet UK roads.

I bought these tires as a cheaper alternative to a Continental tire, because the grip in wet conditions was rated excellent. That seems to be true. This type of tire is designed for lower rolling resistance and increased fuel economy - often that comes with lower wet grip. Not in this case.

Car now relegated to daughters using it for general use. Fairly rural roads, with. mixed road surfaces. The XL rating of the tyre & tread pattern is good for going up a farm track to where the pony has stable.

4 tyres fitted to a small Kangoo van. They perform well for a slow, tough little van/car that is used for ferrying building materials and going to and from building sites. I don't drive fast or try to push the van beyond it's limits. For this purpose the tyyes are very adequate.

Fabulous tyres and exceptional wear, considering the price point of these, especially given my driving style. I'll definitely see over 20000 miles on these tyres which I find remarkable on a heavy car with over 400hp. Could I have better grip, sure for twice the price. Do you really need it, even for having fun on UK roads, no! They are soft rubber though, so you'll know if your alignment is out, these didn't last long on my Merc V Class!

Doing relatively high mileage of over 40k every year, I've been through various different premium tyres over the years. Let me tell you, in the 5k miles on these tyres so far I'd say they're pound for pound up there with premium tyres for everyday driving. I've found them to be really good in the wet, no major drama with aquaplaning and my heavy right foot has encountered no issues in cornering. Strangely, I've found that I'm more confident with these in the wet than dry- they tend to be slightly unpredictable when pushing on. Not a massive issue by any means and shouldn't put anybody off, it's just highlighted by my spirited driving style! Wear seems to be decent so far, but as I said I've only done 5k so far so too early to tell. All in all, great value for money and worth a try. On 20's, The Goodyear Eagle F1s that I had on previously were £160 each, whereas I got these for £115. 200 quid saved, and genuinely no worse performance. Well done Viking!

Definitely the best tyres I've owned to date. I'm driving 28years and always had an issue or two with tyres, so decided to go for all season tyres online so I could see reviews and specs . Bought full set of 4 Rotalla after seeing reviews. I am not an overly cautious driver let's say, and I would take roundabouts at a fair enough speed, previous tyres would struggle on wet days. I instantly felt a huge difference on roundabouts, and grip on breaking on colder mornings . I'm extremely happy with the road grip and performance on sunny days AND colder frosty mornings. My car feels safer to drive for sure. I drive in city, rural and motorway roads regularly so I can say I have tested these tyres fully. At a guess I've done approx 2.5k+ miles on these tyres. Fuel efficiency has improved slightly, but my car is old, so wasnt expecting miracles. I'm changing cars soon and I just hope I can get these tyres or very close to, for the new car. That's how happy I am with them. Only reason I might have not given 5 stars all round is because I cannot judge the noise or fuel based on my own cars age and knowledge of noise level. Highly recommend tho, delighted I took the chance

For the price I paid and the conditions I drove in such as -14°c frost the tyres performed very well.

Really good tyres, couldnt fault them. Great grip in wet and snow. Deff. will buy them again. Why pay 100+ per tyre when You could have pair of these for this money.
