Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

The tyres have been very good in the snow, combined with the 4wd of my car, and in colder and wetter days they work very well. There is a greater noise with warmer days though and I think a slight drop in the mpg.

Fuel economy and comfort seem fine, grip on wet roads is pretty terrible, wheelspin going uphill and lift-off oversteer are something I’ve never experienced in this car in 200km of ownership until I fitted these tyres. Will be going back to Blizzaks for winter.

We purchased these tyres for use in the ski season in the alps. They were excellent, the car gripped and stopped well. I never had to use snow chains. I would buy them again but I have no points of reference as to how they compare against other tyres.

I was surprised how good these tyres are, winter tyres are never supreme performers in the wet and when they let go, you do notice! Tread ware is awesome, they are lasting a lot longer than summer tyres (perhaps because you can't push them as hard and a standard D5 can dump too much power on the front wheels) They are quiet but essentially they work well on snow and ice. Recommended

Car now relegated to daughters using it for general use. Fairly rural roads, with. mixed road surfaces. The XL rating of the tyre & tread pattern is good for going up a farm track to where the pony has stable.

4 tyres fitted to a small Kangoo van. They perform well for a slow, tough little van/car that is used for ferrying building materials and going to and from building sites. I don't drive fast or try to push the van beyond it's limits. For this purpose the tyyes are very adequate.

Definitely the best tyres I've owned to date. I'm driving 28years and always had an issue or two with tyres, so decided to go for all season tyres online so I could see reviews and specs . Bought full set of 4 Rotalla after seeing reviews. I am not an overly cautious driver let's say, and I would take roundabouts at a fair enough speed, previous tyres would struggle on wet days. I instantly felt a huge difference on roundabouts, and grip on breaking on colder mornings . I'm extremely happy with the road grip and performance on sunny days AND colder frosty mornings. My car feels safer to drive for sure. I drive in city, rural and motorway roads regularly so I can say I have tested these tyres fully. At a guess I've done approx 2.5k+ miles on these tyres. Fuel efficiency has improved slightly, but my car is old, so wasnt expecting miracles. I'm changing cars soon and I just hope I can get these tyres or very close to, for the new car. That's how happy I am with them. Only reason I might have not given 5 stars all round is because I cannot judge the noise or fuel based on my own cars age and knowledge of noise level. Highly recommend tho, delighted I took the chance

This is not a sport tyre, it's an exellent tyre for older family cars like my Corolla. Quiet, reliable, durable and really safe in dry or wet conditions. Actually, is as good as Firestone Multihawk(or better). Probably the best model from this manufacturer so far. If you are more agressive driver, buy something like Nokian i3, Uniroyal Rainexpert or other tyre from other well known supplier. Adam

I have tried virtually every chinese built tyre over the years on my classic mini and they dont last more than 5000 miles. The rubber compound is too soft, I get through at least one set of tyres a year. They were cheap but are now getting more expensive. Tyres from mytyres are shipped from germany, not oxford, and mine took 6 weeks to arrive...

Bought these tyres as a bit of an emergency stop gap after somebody had slashed my tyres in a city centre car park, they were only supposed to be on for a few weeks until pay day and I could afford something better, however they’ve now been on for 6 months and have been used in all weathers, including a couple of muddy tracks. They perform really quite well, grip is very good in the dry, only a slight decrease on wet roads and better than expected in the snow. Although they’re not a mud tyre, they still handled the muddy farm tracks with ease. Fuel economy seems pretty much unchanged, road noise is slightly higher than a premium tyre but not so much that it becomes intrusive. Tyre wear is on par with others, I’ve done 10,000 miles so far and judging by the remaining tread, If I run them all the way down to 1.6mm, I think I’ll be on course for a 20,000 mile lifespan.

Gute Reifen, siehe meine Sternebewertung. Warum ich hier schreibe, hat einen anderen Grund. Der Reifen hat EU Label B für Nässeeigenschaften, was bedeutet, dass der Reifen bei Nässe gut ist. Das trifft meiner Meinung nach zu, er ist gut. Gut ist besser als durchschnittlich und logischweise deutlich besser, als schlecht. Es gibt x Tests, die etwas anderes als das EU Label behaupten und sagen, er sei schlecht. Meine Bitte daher, wer auch immer zuständig ist: entweder das EU Label ist Unfug, oder die Tests. Beides passt bei diesen Reifen nicht zusammen. Vielleicht fallen sie auch sehr unterschiedlich aus oder passen zu manchen Autos gar nicht. Also nochmal mein persönliches Fazit: ich suchte günstige Reifen mit Berge Label, also offizielle Winterreifen, die bei Nässe gut sind. Meine Wahl fiel auf diese Reifen und sie war richtig. Ich kann die Reifen empfehlen.

I have already 12000 km with this tires and the feeling is very good, even drove with 130 on highway on light rain without any problems, drove on ice roads and it was ok. I gave 4 stars on the show grip because I did not test them yet on show... but overall are very good!
