What tyre size do you require?
The exact size of a tyre can be found on its sidewall.
The following chart shows you how to read a tyre size.
1. Overall tire width in mm
2. Ratio of tire height to tire width in%
3. Tire design: ''R'' = radial tires (widely used), ''D'' or ''-'' = diagonal tires (rare)
4. Required rim diameter for this tire in inches
5. Key figure for tire load capacity
6. Key figure for the permissible maximum speed (speed index)
7. Motorcycle tire identification, tires only approved for motorcycles
8. DOT labeling
9. Date of manufacture of the tire (week of production / year of production)

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.

This is a very comfortable tyre, I've found that Continental tyres give a very cushioned ride and are very quiet. Wet grip seems good, and I can lean right over without a problem. They don't wear any quicker than anything else, all scooter tyres wear pretty quickly anyway. I'll buy the same again, only downside is that it was a tight fit on the rim, but the bead popped on without much of a problem L.

Good tire, much better than used maxxis. Its a scooter tire so not much expectation there

In fact it is a good tyres, but with a short lifetime. Driving experience with Yamaha X-Max 400 ABS. Front 120 / 70-15, Rear 150 / 70-13.

City Grip Winter - Expensive, Dangerous and Lethal. ABS cuts in on a warm dry road on Moderate Breaking. Cornering is poor with a drop in sensation while going straight on. There is no cornering stability, even gentle corners you fight the steering which will go light and the tyre slips. On a Cold Wet road, ABS cuts in all the time, steering is non existent, and slips even at walking speed. Don't even consider relying on them in an emergency. They will let you down. The tyres at 600km have badly worn with feathering on the tread. After a 30mile/ 50 km Motorway speed journey on a dry road the tyres are cold. Sold as a winter tyre they may meet mud and snow regulations. With improved grip in winter conditions and improvement on previous tyres. In my experience (20 years riding and 8000km a year they are the most dangerous and lethal tyres I have had this misfortune of using . DO NOT PURCHASE - they should be banned from sale before they kill.

Excellent Peice of kit. Used through winter, Great stability in the wet, salty, even icy roads, acceptable off-road too. Not so good in the dry and on long motorway work.

6500km/4000miles is all this tyre is capable of on a Vectrix - about the same as the standard fitment Pirelli. Very good in the frost and snowy or muddy conditions.
