These are as close to perfect summer tyres that I have come across in more than 50+ years of spirited driving. Wet grip is of great importance, and these tyres are actually AO, which I always purchase, as I understand that grip was paramount in AUDIs requirements. The car is a modified 25th Anniversary model and is fitted with SACHS Race Engineering Coil-Over suspension. The cylinder head has been ported and polished with the motor now producing well over 200 ps.

Car had 20" 245/35r20 runflats in front and 275/30r20 runflats (all MOE) for RWD w213 luxury saloon. The car came with these factory fitted MOE runflat tyres. I've Replaced these tyres and wheels at 10600km. I've driven 8600km of that mileage. The tyres wore like rubber bands on the 20" wheels. Steering as a result is very precise in both wet and dry. Front 245/30s have sound deadening foam and overall tyre noise is quiet in the cabin (but just wee bit louder than the 18" PS4 tyres I replaced them with). Ride comfort is 8/10 on highways due to air suspension. On chip seal, speed humps, potholed roads ride comfort is 5/10 - there is very abrupt jarring transmitted to cabin due to tyre profile and rims. Wet grip in cold (5'C) and damp country highways was 7/10 at 110km/h speeds - there was some slip noticeable. Dry grip was 8/10 most of the time but with occasional rear traction slips at highway speeds in curves. This combination of tyres and rims is quite poor for a luxury sedan and compliant rides.

These tyres are great. Low road noise, and surprisingly grippy in the wet. Like really grippy

Very good tyres at a good price
15.11.2014fromNick
Massive amounts of grip in a straight line and through corners in the dry and for an ultra high performance summer Tyre they perform almost as well in the wet. Braking is excellent. Road noise and wear rate are mediocre which has to be expected from an ultra high performance summer tyre. Comfort is sacrificed for a high level of communication between road and driver. I can trust these tyres while pushing the car to it's limits.
09.11.2014fromR.M.
Continentals are the recommended brand for a 911 but it came standard with Pirelli's and do the job absolutely fine, great tyre and superb performer especially on the Scottish country roads.

These tyres are outstanding. The car is a 25th Anniversary GTI with a ported and polished cylinder head and fitted with SACHS Race Engineering coilovers. I require tyres with the highest possible grip, in both wet and dry conditions. For this reason I only fit AUDI AO specification tyres as this specification was developed for the maximum grip on the high performance fwd Audi TT. Which uses the same platform as the MkIV Golf.

I purchased the tyres from eyretyres.com and when they arrived they were deformed, totally unusable from a safety aspect. That was over a month ago and i have not received a refund or replacement. Eyretyres are blaming the manufacturer

I bought these tyres as wanted a budget sport tyre for our recently purchased vauxhall Insignia, so got a pair from Oponeo. They sent Sport 2's which are a Chinese made model. Have been generally happy with these as been on some long & many short trips in last year. They have given confidence inspiring performance through all weathers & never given me reason to regret buying them. They wear well too as still lots of tread left. Recommended...
23.08.2022fromCallam
Good grip on a dry warm day , Starts excessive oversteer in the wet, and they are almost down to the treadwear indicator in just under 3 k miles . Easily looses traction under acceleration in the wet

Most of my driving is on country roads with varying conditions dry , wet , muddy and in winter snow and ice thrown into the mix . These tyres have handled everything and performed great for the price. Have had branded tyres before fitting these which cracked and perished and did not last as long .

In damp or wet on corners they handle very well but certain tarmac can feel it slide abit but not enough for you to panic but enough for you to know to back off Dry does very well like Midrange tyres depending what power car you got of course But got them on very cheap offer compare to other midrange all season they around £150 and I got theses from £130 to £98 if they wasn't on offer I wouldn't of brought them and if they needed replacing would I buy them again depends they don't go higher then £100 otherwise I get midrange tyres

I had them on the front from new, after 2000 miles they start generating more noise ,after 10000 miles (1 year) depth tread was 2mm. Never buy any cheap tyres again .
23.02.2025fromRicardo Rodrigues
Good grip on dry and wet , the noise is not bad but only lasted 10k miles. All uniform wear but only lasted 10k with very smooth driving

I’ve tried to push these tyres to the limit and they hold up really well. Great performance overall, doing as well as the premium priced Continentals they replaced. Well impressed!
22.08.2024fromKevin Broderick
Really good tyres. Bought on the mechanics recommendation and I’m delighted I did. Just as good as the Michelins they replaced. Excellent grip on wet roads even at high speed.
