These are as close to perfect summer tyres that I have come across in more than 50+ years of spirited driving. Wet grip is of great importance, and these tyres are actually AO, which I always purchase, as I understand that grip was paramount in AUDIs requirements. The car is a modified 25th Anniversary model and is fitted with SACHS Race Engineering Coil-Over suspension. The cylinder head has been ported and polished with the motor now producing well over 200 ps.
14.06.2021 from y2kdisease
Car had 20" 245/35r20 runflats in front and 275/30r20 runflats (all MOE) for RWD w213 luxury saloon. The car came with these factory fitted MOE runflat tyres. I've Replaced these tyres and wheels at 10600km. I've driven 8600km of that mileage. The tyres wore like rubber bands on the 20" wheels. Steering as a result is very precise in both wet and dry. Front 245/30s have sound deadening foam and overall tyre noise is quiet in the cabin (but just wee bit louder than the 18" PS4 tyres I replaced them with). Ride comfort is 8/10 on highways due to air suspension. On chip seal, speed humps, potholed roads ride comfort is 5/10 - there is very abrupt jarring transmitted to cabin due to tyre profile and rims. Wet grip in cold (5'C) and damp country highways was 7/10 at 110km/h speeds - there was some slip noticeable. Dry grip was 8/10 most of the time but with occasional rear traction slips at highway speeds in curves. This combination of tyres and rims is quite poor for a luxury sedan and compliant rides.
06.06.2020 from Chris Farnell
These tyres are great. Low road noise, and surprisingly grippy in the wet. Like really grippy

I have used vredestein snow tyres for 35 years they are amazing now I don’t change them and use them all the time they last about 30000miles
09.11.2025 from Tony Jenkins
I drive across Europe on many different roads. I’ve used this tyre on several different cars. It’s excellent
04.05.2025 from Tim Morgan
So much more secure in all adverse driving conditions heavy rain slush and packed snow in north of Scotland. Superior in all aspects compared with OE tyre but must always have steering assistance with these new minis disabled
13.09.2024 from Philip Purvis
These tyres are a long lasting winter tyre which I keep on the car all year, so far I haven't driven on snow with them but have been on the car all summer, normally a time when winter tyres wear more.

I have front set of 2 tires 1 year and around 20000km old, and rear set 6 months and around 10000km. Tyres are excellent for my car on dry and wet. There's not much snow in this part of England, but was some WET snow last winter and tyres were good on start and in curves but on braking just slide (wet snow i suppose). I have been on the road trip this summer 5000km+, and tyres aren't worn at all. Good grip in curves on motorway at high speed (up to 180 km/h) on dry and wet.

Excellent grip and low noise levels & comfort. Tramlining at the slightest road irregularity makes this tyre unpleasant to drive and possibly dangerous. Tyres fitted to front axle only.

Can let go under hard cornering in the dry, usually just a step out requiring a dab of power to correct. I tend not to push too hard in the wet for this reason. Great tyre in all other respects.

Smooth ride. Incredible grip that even prevents the traction control from engaging in brisk pull aways from a standstill. (My car is FWD). The only negative with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is that tyre wear does appear to be slightly higher than with a regular tyre.
15.02.2024 from David Wood
Flourless great in all conditions even got us home at 40 to 50 mph after running over something in the fast lane of the M5 northbound. Can’t praise enough.
09.02.2023 from John Molloy
These tyres are noticeable quieter than my previous tyres, Kumho Exta. Cornering grip is better and fuel consumption is slightly better
09.12.2021 from Nicholas
I've driven roughly 22,000km as this was when i would of rebuilt the engine and got the car ready for road, by far these are the best tyres I've ever experienced on a car, I had used continentals and dunlop's beforehand, 2 competitors to Michelin, and before now, I always struggled with understeer under sharp cornering after periods of rain, with the PS4's, this has been completely eradicated, wet grip is by far the best in its class, with not much coming against it, usually the car would also break grip in wet conditions when in low gears speeding up, this has also vanished, in terms of lifespan, there is roughly 5mm left on the tyres after 22k km, so lifespan is also excellent. I am very confident in using these tyres and will be purchasing again once it comes time to replace.

I've done around 8500 miles so far in mostly poor weather , very good grip in all winter conditions and mild conditions. Good all rounder.
28.05.2024 from Marcis
Good grip on wet and dry roads. Reasonable grip on snow and icy roads. Noisy on dry roads. Fuel consumption has increased. All in all decent tyres.
07.04.2024 from Harry
Incredibly capable tyre for all conditions, but my experience on the roads in West Yorkshire will probably dictate that I don't purchase these tyres again as they are too soft on the sidewall, they do need some sort of protective band. The roads a terrible around Haworth for potholes, and in this case I could not dodge one and it has ripped the sidewall and damaged the rim, rendering the tyre scrap.

This is the Volvo recommended tyre on this wheel for this car; generally very happy after Goodyear’s on previous non sporting V70s.

This is the second set of the same tyres, and yes they hold the road well. When you have 20 something inch of rubber on the road they can really hold there own. The Which magazine holds Bridgestone to high esteem.
13.10.2020 from Bowber
Great tyres, good grip especially in wet, feel safe! Noise isn’t too crazy, hopefully get some decent mileage out of them

Much better than the RFTs that came as standard and one of the few where you can have the same front and back on an X5 with the 20 alloys although I had to import them from Germany. I use winter tyres so not sure of snow grip etc but they give a lot of confidence when driving in summer
