Goodyear Fuelmax S

The FUELMAX S tire features IntelliMax Groove Technology optimizing rolling resistance during tire wear. In addition, an optimized cavity shape gives the ideal compromise for rolling resistance, mileage and handling. The wear rate is further improved by a high net-to-gross ratio, with reduced non-skid for low fuel consumption while still improving mileage.

Low rolling resistance
The 3 hidden raindrop grooves close when rolling through the footprint whilst the ribs support each other, stiffening the tread. When 50% worn, the IntelliMax grooves open. As the tread depth is smaller, rib movement is lower and the support of the closed grooves is no longer required.

Optimised wet grip and reduced braking distances
High number of “biting edges” which assure tyre to road contact.
