A good tyre, but the noise inside the car, emmited dy the tyre, was not so good. Even in the limit of the legal mark, the grip was still there!

Although I really cannot fault this amazing tyre (Yes.. 75000km) with amazing road holding, I feel that paying 145 Euros per tyre in the UK is a little steep. On this site there is a test for the Toyo Proxes T1-R which, apparently outscores the Pilto Exalto and can be bought for 89 Euros per tyre. I'll give them a try and get back to you.

Excellent grip in dry and wet conditions BUT rear tyres got deformed in most cars and were extremely noisy. Michelin knew that and substituted this tyre with the new Exalto PE2.

Tested on both cars. Very impressive top line tyre. Wear is ok, but could be bettered by tyres with less bias on grip. Excellent roadholding with a forgiving handling characteristic. They wear evenly, and give good performance until worn out. Precise and responsive.
