Fits perfectly for example to Ford Fiesta, Renault Twingo and Alfa Romeo Mito.
Technical details:
- The expert for short stopping distances on wet and dry roads
- The long-life expert
- The anti-aquaplaning expert
High aquaplaning protection. Double-concave-shaped grooves and increased groove volume in the tread centre avoids water turbulence in the grooves and substantially improve water dispersion for high aquaplaning protection.
Long service life. Optimised stiffness distribution across the tread provides evenly low tread wear for a long service life. There is also a higher stiffness of the shoulder blocks providing a high degree of safety during critical steering manoeuvres.
Short braking distances on wet and dry roads. Directionally-inclined sipes in the tyre shoulders and tread centre improve the support for the lug halves during braking, leading to increased longitudinal tread stiffness. The braking distances on dry and wet roads become shorter.
EU Tyre Label and Efficiency Classes
The European Union, under CE 1222/2009, has mandated that all tyres manufactured after the date of July 1 2012 for cars and commercial vehicles include standard EU Tyre Labels classifying them by three performance characteristics:fuel efficiency classified from A to G,wet grip classified from A to G, and noise emission in decibels.
Categories of tyres unaffected by this regulation include: retreaded tyres, professional off-road tyres, racing/sports car tyres, as well as certain types of tyres designed to improve traction such as studded tyres, T-type temporary spare tyres, tyres for cars built before 1990, tyres with a maximum allowed speed of 80km/h, tyres for rims with a diameter less or equal to 254 mm or greater or equal to 635 mm.
This label is intended on one hand to promote economic and ecological efficiency in traffic, as well as increase road safety, and on the other hand to help consumers select appropriate tyres by ensuring a certain degree of product transparency.
Nevertheless, the label has been criticized for only showing a very limited number of characteristics. Professionals argue that tyres have many more features that are important and relevant to road safety, including but not limited to aquaplaning properties, driving stability, service life, product properties on wet and dry roads other than wet grip, properties on snow.
Tyre manufacturers suggest that the test results from various institutions and industry magazines should remain a very important source of information for the end consumer, because they focus on and rate a wide variety of tyre properties and features.

Drove this tyre in the hardest rain I've ever driven in on Friday 3rd July 2015 North of London those who experienced this storm will probably remember.
Water was level with top of curb stones at times it was falling so heavily. It was very evident I still had control while those around me did not at times

Good tyre for wet road conditions in city traffic. Slightly noisy but safety outweighs.

Superb tyres these uniroyal rain tyres. Now have all our family cars on them, so no better recommendation for safety & grip. Yes, the sidewalls are a bit softer than other brands but the superb grip in all conditions outweighs this and once you get used to the feel of the slight flexing when changing direction sharply they are very predictable. Our family now have rain sports on all our cars, a mixture of RS2, RS3 & rain expert. All are superb and are great for the lower grip levels and lower temperatures encountered in Scotland.
