The ADVAN S.T. V802 has succeeded and further sophisticated the excellent high-speed performance of the AVS S/T type-1 and achieved a high-level balance between high-speed capability and driving safety and comfort, which is required by new-generation SUVs. It offers a strong grip performance under a variety of conditions by combining W-shaped directional tread pattern with a tread compound that has been developed specifically for the ADVAN S.T. to achieve low temperature-dependence capability, while attaining high-level driving comfort through the use of the '5-pitch variation' technology-based pitch sequence. Designed specifically for the ADVAN S.T., the tire structure offers both a handling performance based on a consideration of low-position gravity center specific to new-generation SUVs and running stability in a high-speed zone up to 300 km/h.
